Problems Reported with Mac OS X 10.4.6 Release

Xinet has received several reports of problems with the Apple Mac OS10.4.6 update at different customer sites. You can find additional reports of issues related to this operating system release at http://macfixit.com.

Xinet's technical support team has not been able to confirm allincidents; however, three significant problems have been reported:

- Problems saving to remote AFP volumes (Xinet or otherwise)

- Files and/or folders viewed from AFP volumes appear locked, even though they have the correct permissions

- Photoshop CS and CS2 crash when users try to save files to remote AFP volumes

We recommend delaying the installation of the 10.4.6 update until Apple issues a patch.
